Solmere is proud to participate in the City of Lakewood’s Multifamily Tax Exemption (MFTE) program, offering a limited selection of income-restricted apartment homes at reduced rental rates for qualifying households.
The MFTE program helps expand access to quality housing by setting aside select apartment homes at affordable rental rates based on household income. At Solmere, qualifying residents can enjoy the same thoughtfully designed community, convenient Lakewood location, and amenities while benefiting from income-restricted pricing.

Do I Qualify for an MFTE Apartment?
Eligibility for an MFTE apartment is based on your household’s total gross annual income before taxes, household size, and the income restriction assigned to the available apartment home. All sources of household income may be considered when determining eligibility. Applicants will be required to complete an income certification process and provide documentation verifying household income.
